1. Consulting and equipment supply for mooring systems, etc.
(For floating offshore wind power generation facilities)
・Through a business partnership with First Marine Solutions (FMS), headquartered in Scotland,we will provide consulting and equipment supply services related to mooring systems for floating offshore wind power generation facilities in Japan.
・To date, FMS has provided consulting and equipment supply services for numerous mooring systems for floating offshore wind farms and oil and gas facilities in Europe.
Consulting
• Examples of accidents/risks related to mooring lines and anchors, and presentation of safety measures.
• Presentation of mooring rope layouts that take into account geological strata and seabed surfaces.
• Presentation of the mooring rope installation process and selection/optimization of vessels to be used.
• Interface design between the floating body and the mooring line
• Presentation of methods for inspecting and monitoring mooring ropes.
• Presentation of mooring rope repair and replacement processes, and selection and optimization of vessels to be used.
• Support for the design of anchor-handling vessels
Equipment supply and rental, system provision

2. Rental and leasing of underwater inspection equipment
・Through a business partnership with Mitsubishi HC Capital Inc., we will provide rental and leasing services for underwater inspection equipment to construction companies and underwater inspection companies.
・To build a domestic supply chain and ensure stable operation (early detection of abnormalities and early recovery), we will create a scheme that broadens the base of the industry (making it easier for local companies to participate) and contribute to the launch of domestic offshore wind power generation projects.
